Transducer Thermal Management System

The Transducer Thermal Management System is designed to reduce heat to the transducer, allowing extended operation time and prolonged lifespan of the transducer.

No tools are required to install and remove the Cool Hand™ Housing or the Port Extension Wand, as both snap onto the transducer with a replaceable spring. The unique finned design of the Cool Hand™ Housing also diminishes the heat transfer to the technician’s hand and facilitates a better grip to increase safety measures during operation. The Cool Hand™ Housing has been proven to provide up to three times the radiant transducer cooling and half the thermal heat conduction to hands when compared to other housings. The Port Extension Wand provides access to ports and distances the inspector’s hand from hot assets while surrounding and shielding the transducer.
