VersaSonic provides instantaneous ultrasonic response and does not contain plastic powders that can impede ultrasonic conduction.
VersaSonic functions as an effective high-temperature transducer lubricant and contributes to extended transducer life.
VersaSonic is available in two viscosities suitable for ultrasonic flaw detection, corrosion mapping, and thickness gauging across both high- and low-temperature conditions, including use in mud, snow, and rain.
VersaSonic supports ambient and low-temperature coupling applications where corrosion inhibition is a critical requirement. It serves as an excellent corrosion inhibitor, offering non-toxic, long-term protection for steel and cast iron while maintaining compatibility with other metals and most plastics.
VersaSonic may be left in place unless it interferes with post-inspection manufacturing processes such as painting or electroplating.
The formulation of VersaSonic has a low environmental impact and contains no perfluorocarbons, silicones, peanut oils, or tree nut oils.
For removal, VersaSonic can be wiped away with paper or cloth. If complete removal is required, dish detergent and water or a chemical degreaser may be used.
