That’s why Echo Ultrasonics developed VersaSonic, a multipurpose all-temperature ultrasonic couplant formulated for the toughest environments. VersaSonic maintains reliable acoustic transmission in environments where other products may vaporize, dry out, wash away, or lose consistency.

VersaSonic performs where other couplants don’t:

• Extreme Heat – Maintains performance during elevated-temperature inspections up to 700°F / 371°C. VersaSonic has a slower vaporization rate than competitive coupants – lasts longer so you use less.

• Freezing Cold – Delivers consistent ultrasonic coupling even in harsh winter conditions – won’t freeze or form ice crystals down to -10°F / -23°C.

• Rain and Mud – Stays in place and continues working in wet, dirty environments without compromising inspection quality.

VersaSonic is available in two viscosities: medium for scanning and high for placing on the transducer, on curved surfaces, or for use at the upper end of the operating range.
